Overall comfortable place!
Clean property near the sophisticated shops, restaurants and bars of Banjoles, the lake in Bagnoles de l'Orne, and bars.

Rooms were spotless and I could use an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and a microwave oven. Had a bath in particularly good bathroom. It was great in the centre of town. What's more, I was short walk to lake and main shopping street, the sophisticated shops and the casino, in the heart of the sophisticated shops, restaurants and bars of Banjoles.

the comfort room for three was spacious and clean, with a beautifully soft bed that provided an excellent night's sleep. the bathroom was spotless and the decor, although basic, was perfectly fine. the hotel's location right by the lake was convenient, with ample free parking available on the street. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the hotel's popular restaurant, which serves authentic alpine Savoyard cuisine. the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, making communication easy for those with rusty or non-existent French skills. I would highly recommend La Potinière du Lac to anyone looking for a family-run hotel with a warm welcome and great amenities. Cons: It was all superb! 😄.

We got great value for our money with a modern and impeccably clean apartment. The location was unbeatable, right by the lake and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

We stayed at La Potiniere for 2 nights on our way to Southern Brittany. The hotel's location by the lake was perfect, with free roadside parking available. Despite being a 2-star hotel, it was impeccably clean and tidy, and the staff were lovely. The turret suite was well worth it, with comfortable arm chairs and windows on 3 sides. The breakfast buffet was good, although I opted for a café for a better Espresso. The formula menu at 24 euros was good value for basic French fare, and the local farm cider was superb.
100% Recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect, with lots of free parking along the street. Communication with the management was easy through email and QR codes for entry. it was excellent value for money.

The location of this hotel was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful view of the lake from the bathroom. We were also delighted with the free parking right outside the hotel, making it easy to come and go as we pleased. we really appreciated the warm welcome from the owners upon arrival.
One aspect that could be improved is the wifi reception, which was a bit iffy at times. the climb up the narrow stairs to our room on the top floor was quite tiring, especially for those with mobility issues.
